Arcus Shelf is designed by Nanna Aakjær Svendsen, with great inspiration from her grandfather Jørgen Aakjær Jørgensen. The idea with Arcus Shelf was to build a shelf, that should work as a piece of art by it self
The shelves have the same shape as all of our other furniture and are also built with the old techniques. Some of the things that Nanna Aakjær is inspired by from her grandfather is the classic edge, which is seen in a lot of his designs from the 50’s The edge has a new functionality as a great finish on the shelves The organic shapes of the shelves makes them a part of the wall when mounted.
Arcus Shelf is available in two different sizes and has various applications Use the shelf as a classic picture shelf, a convienient shelf for storage or as a sculpture in collaboration with other wall art in your home.
