The coffee table No. 55 was designet by the carpenter Jørgen Aakjær Jørgensen in the 1950’s. With its unique combination of the triangular shape, soft corners and yet sharp lines, the coffee table will be the center of attention. The tabletop is made of high quality oak veneer, which gives the table a timeless design The soft edge, which creates a beatiful frame around the table, is a classic detail of Jørgen Aakjær Jørgensens designs. No. 55 is available en three options. White oiled oak which provides a brighter contrast in the structure of the wood and fits perfectly with other soap- or lye treated furniture. Smoked oak, which provides a dark color and fits perfectly with other dark woods. Natural oil which gives a natural warm glow and fits other oil treated furniture.

All furniture is finished with a special detail to the polish. The furniture is soft as velvet on the surface. Polishing is one of the most important tasks, as this was one of the things Jørgen Aakjær appreciated the most.
No.55 Smoked Oak is treated with a darkening oil.
