The coffee table No.55 was designed back in the 1950s by the carpenter Jørgen Aakjær Jørgensen. With its combination of the unique triangular shape, the soft rounded corners and yet sharp lines, the coffee table appears as the center of the room. The beautiful coffee table, with its elegant expression, is a true design classic that beautifully goes hand in hand with other classics from Danish design history.
Therefore, we are pleased to present No.55, for the first time produced in the beautiful wood walnut.
The color of walnut wood is dark and deep and exudes exclusivity. The material’s grain are exceptionally beautiful, as the wood around the knobs becomes lively and exciting to look at, while walnut is a very dimensionally stable type of wood and remains beautiful for many years to come.

All furniture is finished with a special detail to the polish. The furniture is soft as velvet on the surface. Polishing is one of the most important tasks, as this was one of the things Jørgen Aakjær appreciated the most.
No. 55 in walnut is treated with a neutral oil.
